Stability

Happiness is influenced by a myriad of factors. While most seem external, the most influential ones are internal.

I’ve found that relying on happiness to come naturally is a dangerous game. The emotional roller coaster that results is unpredictable and the high spirits can vanish almost as soon as they appear. In the end, it’s not worth enduring such a cruel cycle that does more harm than good.

The key to a stable emotional state lies in finding a stable source of happiness. Whether that’s friends, family, or an activity, mental stability can be the most valuable weapon against an unpredictable world.

But this stability does not come easily. Instead of waiting for it to discover you, you must dedicate time to discovering what makes you happy. But once you find it, embrace the confidence that it brings because it will undoubtedly become the most valuable asset you own.
